How did tricycles ever catch on?

I know, I know. No water bottle eyelets, no fenders, no racks and, at best, a primitive drivetrain. On the other hand, a tricycle has no need of a kickstand. And the streamers can’t be beat.

Also worth your consideration: the tricycle that I actually own.

  1. A real eyeopener. Tricycles are and will forever more be an enjoyable form of transportation. I lke it. Great for the waistline also.

  2. Lar Davis says:

Don’t forget to set the brake when dismounting, or they tend to run off on their own.
