If you know you want a folding bicycle, you probably also know why you want a folding bicycle, which is a good thing because there are plenty of reasons to want one and I wouldn’t be able to guess your particular interest in the subject.

Maybe you like the idea of conquering the “last mile,” the distance between a transit stop and your home, by wheel. Maybe you appreciate the almost whimsical utility of the admirably compact Brompton. Or maybe a folder simply fits the trunk of your car better than the old Schwinn (or a newer Long John cargo bike).
