Half-shell delta trike features detachable, linear steering

It has a partial shell, but it’s not a streamliner. It has a long wheelbase, with a lot of rear overhang. But the indirect linear steering system may be the most remarkable feature of this delta recumbent. The design makes it easy to remove, not just the front wheel, but the forks and head tube. Why?
